recap of summer school

it been an easy month of small amount of work. i really enjoy summer school because it is so much easier than regular school. and it is a lot more fun than than regular school. here we can focus on one subject and not stress over multiple subjects at a time. i feel that the work i did this month is pretty good and i feel that i didn't do my best but it was enough to pull through. i hope that my mark in the finals is going to be over 80 percent because i really need that mark. this summer i was happy because i made it and i couldn't have done it without my friends. they made it tolerable to be in class for 6 hours a day for a month. i got closer to friend this month because he was in my class, but i wasn't really close with him before. but i feel like i know him a lot more now. i stopped reading before but now i go to the library and i take out books and read them all the time. actually my mom screams at me because i always read and don't do my homework. but now i can read all i want since im almost done summerschool. overall i liked the class, teacher and the course. our teacher tried to make the course fun and i think it worked. 1 memory i wont forget is when i had to act as hamlet in one scene where he acted super creepy.

my life's most awesome moments.

1. Going to Kearny(i think thats how you spell it)
going to kearny was one of my most favourite moments because me and my friends would always say that we should go somewhere for a few days even though we were like 10 and 11 years old. we finally did and it was amazing spending a few days with my friends.
2. going to Muskoka
I think that going to muskoka was an awesome moment because that was the first time i went ziplining.
3. getting my g1
once i got my g1 that was the most happiest day of my life. i drove home that very day and it was the first day i drove. all i ever wanted to do was drive. to be honest, i asked my mom if i can drive before i got my g1 but she said no so when i finally drove it made me happy.
4.going to cuba
i think that going to cuba with my family after s very long time of going on vacation was a awesome moment too. we spent a lot of time there enjoying the beach and the free drinks.
5. going snorkeling
it was fun because i got to go with my family and the water was warm. we got to see some really big fish. its funny because we threw beard at my cousin and all the fish went after him, he was really scared of the fish. but we got to see wild dolphins on the way back. we thought it was sharks at first but the guides said that no sharks were in the water. and they came close enough that we could tell that they were dolphins.  Image result for dolphins

things i will never do again.

1. Take any science courses.
I am not good at any of the sciences. there is no point for me to take any sciences either because i am going into business and it doesn't require any science courses.
2. walk outside with no shirt on during the winter.
it was not bad walking outside in the cold, i could handle it. but i got sick the next day and stayed sick for about a week. because of me being stupid, i missed my cousin's birthday.
3.fight my brother
its impossible for me to fight a friendly fight with my brother. when we agree to put restraints on what we do, he agrees than doesn't listen and breaks every rule. another thing is that he goes all out when we have a grappling match, he punches and kicks when we arent supposed to do that. but annoys me the most is what he says after. " the point is to win, doesnt matter how u do it"
4. eating tomatoes
I cant eat tomatoes for some reason. it tastes so bad and its impossible for me to digest it.
5. go to india
I went to india once, it was really bad. the streets smelled like feces all the time. the heat is unbearable. and the traffic is ridiculous. there is constantly noise everywhere with no peace and quiet. constant fear of being hit by a cow or a dog going to bite you. definitely not going back there

5 things wrong with the world and how to fix them

1. Dishonesty: people become dishonest because they always have a goal in their mind that they want. I think if we make everything equal people wouldn't have to be dishonest to get it
2. Sense of adventure: it used to be that if you wanted something special or unique you would have to go to a place where they only have it to get what you want.but now there are stores everywhere that can get it for you and it takes that unique or special properties away from you. I think we should keep this special places from where they originated from or if your feeling adventurous visits it's origins yourself.
3. Cell phones because they take away the aspect of socializing. Wherever we go we are on our phones, no matter what we do, we are on our phones. I think that we should make phones that lose charge really quickly so people don't use then other than emergencies.
4. The Internet is a great tool if you want to explore or become a part of the world virtually. But nowadays everything we do is online. Talking to friends without the talking, all of our work is on the Internet, our work is online, and most importantly our lives. I think we should increase the prices for WiFi because then people will stop paying for it. I know I would
5. Greed is a very evil thing. It causeseems people to act an entirely different way than how they should. If people had things to begin with nobody would act out and want more. If everybody is equal thanot there is no need to fight for things such as land or money.I think if everyone had an equal opportunity than greed would not exist.

Im not really happy with the mark im getting right now, but i know i can do better and i am going to try really hard and try to improve it. this week went by quickly which im grateful for because now i can look forward to the weekend and then i more week of school then im done and can enjoy summer. i am looking forward to august because im going to a cottage with my family and cousins. it should be exciting. and i am also looking forward to august 1 because that's when i get some expensive steak that my cousin is buying, its supposed to be triple A grade. i've never had any real steak before so im looking forward to it. i've only had the steaks that are frozen and they tasted okay but i want some real steak, fresh and hot.im kinda worried about my grades and im nervous about university but i think i can pull through and get everything done. i really don't want the summer to end.
1. My Family:

i really enjoy the company and warmth that my family provides in my times of need. also they let me drive the car whenever i want to.. so that's a plus
2. Driving(car meets)
i really enjoy going to car meets because one. i get to see a lot of exotic cars that you usually wouldn't see on the streets. and 2. you get to meet new and exciting people with lots of stories and interesting things to tell. they also can help you out with anything you want if your close with them. its also very funny to see people who think their better than everyone else get put in their place after trying to show off.
3.  Having a good hair day
i don't usually have a good hair day so when i do it makes me feel like i accomplished something. right in the morning
4. Waking up early and realizing that i still have time to sleep
i love waking up and realizing that i still have time to sleep because it makes me feel refreshed and relaxed
5. finding money in my pocket
i think that it is the greatest blessing when you find money in your pocket especially when you need it the most.
6. paying for a small order of something but get a large
that's the greatest thing that can happen to someone
7.  Having clean laundry
8, getting the laundry out of the dryer.
i love the warm feeling of getting the laundry out of the dryer because it feels all warm and fuzzy.
9. 100% charge on phone
if i dont have 100% charge on my phone i dont know how i will be able to function for the day.
10. Fridays
the best feeling in the world is knowing that the day is friday and you can look foward to a relaxing weekend of doing whatever you want(blessed).

i started going into today very nervous because   we had to hand in all of our work. i was very scared on how well i was going to do because we would also get our marks today. i was a little scared when i saw my mark after handing the poetry part. but my hopes got lifted when the reader journal brought my mark up. then I just started doing the regular work we get everyday. but i felt good because  it was a Friday and i was relieved to just get home and sleep for a couple of hours. then i woke up and went to my cousins house to see my nephew. he is way to energetic for me to keep up with him. i felt a sudden candy craving so i bought almost 15 $ worth of candy at the convenient store. then the rest of the day i felt happy knowing that the weekend is waiting for me when i wake up the next day, especially since it was a long weekend due to the pan am games. the pan am games are kinda of bugging me because it is hard to find a parking spot when coming to school and it really hard to leave the school to because there's a lot of traffic already and pan am made it worse.

different world

i think that a different world offers a more realistic portrayal of teen life and issues. in the the TV sitcom the different world, the characters had a money problem so they couldn't pay their dorm fees. While the other sitcom was talking about sex and marriage at the age of 15 to 16 which isn't as common as one might think. in the different world, the main character, dennise, gave a check late to pay for the dorm fees. but she later learned that the check bounced and her room-mate and herself would have to leave the dorm if the money wasn't brought forward. when dennise's room-mate found that the checks bounced, she called dennise irresponsible, lazy and etc. dennise was about to ask  her father to lend her the money but she decided that it would be best that the right thing to do was to try and fix the problem herself. she took initiative and went to a counsellor to ask for a loan hoping to pay it back at some other time, which probably wouldn't work because he knew exactly who she was and he knew that she was usually late and irresponsible. But dennise told him about how she wanted to figure out a solution to make everything right without asking her parents or other people for help and the counsellor said that he might have a job they could help her pay for the dorm fees. Overall I think that this episode was about learning to take responsibility for your own actions an trying to make them right. Eventually she learns that it is hard to take responsibility but at the end of the day it is worth it

What I do on a rainy day

what i do to start my day on a rainy day is to sleep in a lot longer than i usually do. Then i wake up and eat something warm because rainy days feel cold and gloomy to me so i like to stay extra warm. i would then read a book for a few hours. then i would enjoy a warm lunch. as i said before, it feels very gloomy outside but it makes me feel happy because me and my family are together do stuff like cooking or playing board games and card. My cousin lives across the street from me so we usually spend the rest of the day at their house. i usually play with my baby nephew who is just learning to talk. we also play cards and barbecue some burgers in their garage. then we usually just watch a movie and about future plans so we don't do any last minute stuff and go do something unprepared. my cousin thinks that its fun to in the rain and get sick the next day and i never understood why. then i head back home and enjoy reading before i go to sleep. this is my best rain day schedule.

My morning was very fustrating because i wanted to bring my laptop to school today but my sister kept on complaing that she would have nothing to do at home. So we were fighting for a good half hour before i told that i would buy her candy which i dont plan on doing .I didn't really do anything different today other than have 2 presentations. I find it very hard to get up in the morning for school, it is very different from what I am used too. I always woke up at 7:30 to go to school but

now I wake up a 6:30 and it messed me up somehow.  I am always tired and I feel like falling asleep all the time. I don't know how I'm going to last for the rest of the month. I am still thinking about how I'm going to do in the course.

These are the 5 best and the 5 worst things about family.

The best things:
1.  Family will honestly love and appreciate you for you actually are, even if your not how they wanted you to turn out as.
2. Family will know how to lead you in a successful and positive direction.
3. They will support you through thick and thin, financially and emotionally.
4. Your family actually cares for you no matter what.
5. You will always smile when you look back at the past and cherish those memories when raise a family of your own.

5 worst things about family
1.your parents will always make you sound like the perfect child in frono of their friends and relatives.
2. They always embarrass you in front of your friends, for example they will tell you to take out the trash and you say in a minute and then they start to give a lecture in front of your friends.
3. They will lie to you about going places but will bring you somewhere you despise .
4. They never ask for permission to enter you room but when you do that , you get an enormous lecture about privacy and manners
5. Siblings are the most annoying people you will ever meet in your life. Even if you are tight with them, they will make you snap.

At what age should children be allowed to have access to devices

I think the age children should be allowed to have devices should be either 14 or 15 when they first attend high school. I know that in high school it is critical to communicate with your peers and teachers to further advance your studies, to be honest it's more like it's mandatory.  Without having a device that connects to the Internet, students will have a hard time to keep up with the curriculum now a days, even this blog requires me to have access to a device with Internet connection to perform well in this course. Another reason children should be 14+ to get devices is that they will become less active and more addicted to their devices. From personal experiences, I know that children will refuse to leave their devices to play outside. They are losing themselves in social media and other things. I barely see any kids outside nowadays compared to a couple years ago. Another negative factor of allowing children to have devices early on is that they can be targeted by one of the most dangerous things in the world, cyber bullying. A lot of children are affected by cyber bullying, and because they are so young, they won't know how to deal and cope with it. The only thing that they know how to do is accept whatever their told, and what they are told can very well be negative things like " nobody likes you" or "stay away from everybody". These are all things that children will learn to accept and they will think it's normal. This is why I think children should not have devices or social media accounts at an early age.

First day of school

Even though I did take summer school last year, it was very nerve racking to be back again. I didn't know if I would get a good teacher(I did by the way). And this morning when I woke up I was already nervous about university because I need at least a 85% in this course to get into the program I want and I was thinking about how I might do, but after meeting the teacher,  I feel like I will get a good mark in this course. This summer I know it will be more tolerable because I have a lot of friends that came to summer school with me this year. Overall I think this month will be fun and I'm looking forward to it.
